Sharon Herschberger Mirll is a Lubbock native who believes in the slogan, "Lucky Me, I Live in Lubbock"!
After graduating with a Bachelor's in Music Performance in 1986 and a Master's in Music Pedagogy in 1988, Sharon taught privateand viola and violin lessons, and continued to performed with the Lubbock Symphony, Roswell Symphony, Big Spring Symphony, and San Angelo Symphony. She has been in the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra since 1980 and performs with a string quartet for many special events in Lubbock and the surrounding area.
Sharon's teaching experience includes hundreds of private students throughout the years, orchestra in the Lubbock public schools, conducting with the Lubbock Youth Symphony, and four years at Wayland Baptist University.
